Tsukami Zaiku is a traditional craft that has been passed down since the Edo period. It is said to have originated from folding fabric scraps and reusing them to create flowers and butterflies in a playful manner. It is mainly used as hair ornaments called kanzashi that adorn styled hair, and in recent years, more people have been making handmade kanzashi for their daughters and grandchildren for special days. This time, works that add color to everyday life, not just for special occasions, will also be exhibited. Let's enjoy the seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter decorated with Tsukami Zaiku.
