[Cherry Blossom Viewing] Nabekura Park

[Cherry Blossom Viewing] Nabekura Park

A relaxing park where various types of cherry blossoms bloom.

Nabekura Park

Mid-Apr~Late Apr

Nabekura Park is the site of the ruins of Nabekura Castle. It is said that Nabekura Castle was built by the Asonuma clan during the Tenshō era, and in 1627, Nanbu Naoyoshi entered from Hachinohe, serving as the residence of the Tono Nanbu clan for over 240 years with a land value of 12,500 koku. In 1869, the castle was abandoned, and it is now developed as an urban park, cherished as a famous cherry blossom location. In the main keep, various types of cherry blossoms bloom gloriously, including Watanabe's tail, Goi-han, Fugenzo, Taizan-fukun, and Shōgetsu.
