General Public Opening of Jodoj Temple Tea Room "Rotekian" / Special Seat Course
Enjoy a moment of tranquility
Known as a National Treasure, Jodoj Temple features the tea room "Rotekian" associated with Toyotomi Hideyoshi, which is usually not open to the public. This tea room will be open to the public for the first time in 7 years during this year's Golden Week. In the special seat course, you can experience a thin tea ceremony. There will also be a lecture on how to drink matcha and other etiquette, so feel free to participate. Registration is required by April 28 (Monday). Open to those aged 16 and above. The capacity is 8 people per session. *There is also a separate general viewing course.
