Spring Exhibition 2025: 'The Fun World of Aesop's Fables'

Aesop's fables teach us seemingly 'serious lessons' through the guise of animals. This exhibition mainly features original illustrations from the picture book 'Aesop's Story: 13 Tales' (BL Publishing, 2012) by picture book artist Ayano Imai, who lives in Saku City, Nagano Prefecture. Various Aesop's fables will be introduced alongside modern illustrations, from famous tales like 'The Tortoise and the Hare' and 'The Fox and the Grapes' to lesser-known stories such as 'The Rooster and the Jewel' and 'The Deer by the Spring'.
