【Cherry Blossoms - Best Viewing】Kagoshima Prefectural Yoshino Park

A famous cherry blossom spot to enjoy for a long period
A urban park with a vast area covered in grass. The observation tower located at an elevation of 234m offers a magnificent view of Sakurajima across Kinko Bay, and on clear days, you can also see the distant Kirishima mountain range and Kaimondake, making it an excellent viewpoint. There are 12 types of cherry blossoms, with 15 Kawazuzakura trees that are at their best around mid-February, while other cherry blossoms will bloom sequentially until early April.

Approximately 25 minutes by Nankoku Kotsu bus bound for Yoshino Park from JR Kagoshima Chuo Station, get off at the last stop.
