Shirahama Beach is a beautiful beach with marine blue waters and white sand under green pines. It is equipped with hot spring facilities and campgrounds, and there are rocky areas at the edge of the sandy beach, so you can enjoy tidepooling as well. On May 10, 2006, it was selected as one of the "Top 100 Beautiful Bathing Beaches" by the Ministry of the Environment. Additionally, the sunset over the Nagasaki Peninsula during twilight is renowned for its beauty.
