Third Subcommittee Symposium of the Research Institute and Center

How to live "diversity"

Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Institute for the Study of Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa

10/4(Sat) 13:30~16:30

In recent years, the rise of anti-immigrant sentiment in Western countries has been changing the landscape of domestic and international politics, and this movement has started to become evident in Japan as well. The value of "establishing fairness and including diverse people" is becoming unstable. As the population decline progresses at an unexpectedly rapid pace, how should we perceive "diversity" and live it as our own? This symposium aims to discuss this pressing issue from a global perspective. ■Note Advance registration required. Please check the brochure for details.
