August 2025 Classic Film Theater "The Monk and the Gun"

In 2006, Bhutan aimed for democratization following the abdication of the king, leading to a mock election being organized to implement actual elections. In the village of Ura, surrounded by mountains, a high monk instructs a young monk to obtain a gun upon hearing the news.
