16th Edagawa-uchi Hydrangea Festival

Under the motto "A big challenge in a small village, Japan's number one hydrangea land," the people of the Edagawa-uchi district continue to plant trees every year, and now about 16,000 hydrangea plants blossom beautifully along the edges of rice fields and rivers. Agricultural products and specialty products will also be sold during the weekends (9:00 to 15:00). Various events such as photo exhibitions, hydrangea maintenance, and hydrangea pruning meetings will be held. A forest therapy hydrangea tour will also take place on 6/17 (Tue) (pre-registration required / fee required).

Agricultural and specialty product sales: Saturdays and Sundays during the period from 9:00 to 15:00, on 6/1 (Sun) from 8:00 to 12:00 hydrangea maintenance (volunteers wanted), on 7/6 (Sun) from 9:00 to 12:00 hydrangea pruning meeting (volunteers wanted), and for three days only on 6/12 (Thu), 6/19 (Thu), and 6/26 (Thu), soba restaurant limited to 50 meals each day from 11:00 at Edagawa-uchi Chaya Hydrangea Village
