Spring Takano Experience: 'Rice Planting and Cooking Rice in a Hagan'

An experience to touch the history and food culture unique to Takano
At the Shimotaka Community Promotion Center in Takanocho, Shobara City, located at an elevation of around 600 meters, we hold community-oriented experiential events throughout the year to harvest local specialty products. This time, participants will experience rice planting and enjoy rice from Takano cooked in a Hagan rice pot, served with exquisite locally made pickles. Participants will also have the chance to hear about the rice from the producers. After lunch, we will go digging for bamboo shoots. Those wishing to participate must apply by Saturday, May 3. The capacity is 20 people.
