Nagasaki Summer Tradition - Nagasaki Peiron Championship
A traditional summer event in Nagasaki with over 350 years of history. 26 paddlers ride on a 14-meter-long peiron boat, competing to the beat of drums and gongs. The sight of peiron boats racing in Nagasaki port is spectacular. ■ Notes Please take precautions against heatstroke. Be aware that drinks and other refreshments are available within the Matsugae International Terminal.
