[Cherry Blossoms - Peak Time] Kurikawa Park

Located at the foot of Mount Daitō, this park is one of the first places in the region where cherry blossoms begin to bloom. It features a campground, a barbecue area, and a "Friendly Zoo" where families can see about 15 types of animals. When about 200 cherry blossom trees bloom at once, the cherry blossom avenue along the central path creates a "sakura tunnel", bustling with many tourists. This year, it opens at 10:00 AM on April 29 (Tuesday, holiday). Exciting events are also planned.

The event date is a guideline for the peak blossom period, which may vary due to weather conditions. Kurikawa Park opens on April 29. Even before opening, access for cherry blossom viewing and other activities in the park is free.
