During the peak season, Shiratutsujikoen transforms into a completely white world, as if covered in snow, featuring ancient trees over 750 years old and more than 3000 Ryukyu varieties of white azaleas, which color the early summer in Nagai. Additionally, the Nagai Black Lion Festival is held in late May.
