Autumn Hyakunin Isshu 〜 The Literary World Expanding from the 'Culture of Fragrance' 〜
Let’s unravel the world of poetry while enjoying fragrance play.
The "culture of fragrance," which spread among the aristocracy during the Heian period. Beneath it lies a world rich in history and literature. This time, while enjoying autumn incense play centered around the Hyakunin Isshu (One Hundred Poets), we will unravel the world of poetry. The instructor will be Kousai Hayakawa from the Kodo Kyorinbo style. After a casual experience and lecture on fragrance culture, we will enjoy tea and sweets while engaging in conversation with the instructor. Advance reservation is required.
