A summer tradition Kecak festival by Geino Yamashiro Gumi, known for the music of the film AKIRA. In a festive space where the ritual gate of a Balinese temple towers over the high-rise buildings of Shinjuku, the Balinese choral dance drama Kecak invites people into bliss. The performance of "Symphonic Suite AKIRA" by the giant bamboo ensemble Jegog, choirs from Georgia and Bulgaria, the bronze orchestral gamelan, and traditional drum performances from Tohoku offer exquisite entertainment for free. Visitors can also participate in the festival with instrument experiences and street performances.
