The summer tradition Kecak Festival by Geino Yamashiro, known for the music of the movie 'AKIRA.' In a festive space with a Balinese temple gate towering over the skyscraper area of Shinjuku, the Balinese choral dance drama Kecak invites people into a trance. Enjoy a free performance of 'Symphonic Suite AKIRA' by the giant bamboo ensemble Jegog, choirs from Georgia and Bulgaria, bronze symphonic gamelan, Tohoku drum performing arts, and more. The event is participatory, featuring experiences with ethnic instruments and street performances.
