[Autumn Leaves - Best Viewing] Shiretoko Pass

At the top of the Shiretoko Crossing Road that connects Utoro in Shari Town and Rausu Town, there is the Shiretoko Pass at an elevation of 738 meters along the ridge of the Shiretoko Mountains. It is also popular as a driving course. The autumn leaves of Rausu-dake viewed from here are spectacular, and on clear days, it is a breathtaking spot where you can see the distant Kunashir Island of the Northern Territories.
