Western-style Painters of Izumo

Since the end of World War II, Western-style painting has flourished in the Izumo region, producing excellent Western painters. They not only excelled in the central art world but also contributed greatly to the development of local Western-style painting culture. This exhibition introduces the works of local Western-style painters centered around the museum's collection.
