An exhibition featuring approximately 8,000 buttons from the 19th to the 20th century, collected over many years by craftsman Kiyomi Kato, residing in Akaiwa City, Okayama Prefecture. We hope you enjoy the diverse materials and designs of buttons imbued with the aesthetic sense and delicate techniques of the time. This exhibition also introduces Kato's lace collection, and worksheets for a fun button hunt are available at the venue.
