"The Queen of the Adriatic," Venice is a city of water. The glamorous image of this city spread throughout Europe through the landscape paintings of the 18th-century painter Canaletto. This exhibition introduces the beautiful scenery of Venice, depicted from the newly unveiled Canaletto works to the Impressionists of the late 19th century.
