Romanian Macrame - Chiharu Tsurumoto Exhibition: Inheritance of Tradition and Continuing Challenges

Romanian Macrame Chiharu Tsurumoto Exhibition
Romanian macrame is a traditional craft that has spread throughout Europe. Chiharu Tsurumoto learned only the basics from a Meister in Romania and has since conducted independent research. There are no texts available, and for 15 years, she has relentlessly repeated the process of "trying and starting over," supported by her uncompromising attitude and ambition. Utilizing needles and hooks, she will showcase about 20 works that breathe life into delicate threads.
