Summer Grand Purification to drive away impurities
A purification of sins committed unknowingly and the accumulated impurities. As an event to purify sins, impurities, and disasters, and to strengthen life force, the ritual of passing through a ring made of braids of grass is performed. The large purification is an event held once every six months.
