[Hydrangeas - Best Viewing] Jojyuin

The hydrangeas planted in Jojyuin originally consisted of 262 plants, the same number as the characters in the Heart Sutra, but due to construction on the approach, a donation was made to plant them in Minamisanriku, which was affected by the tsunami in the 2011 earthquake, as part of the “Hydrangea Garden Project.” The head priest also visited the site to participate in the planting. Currently, there are about 50 hydrangeas at Jojyuin. After the hydrangeas, the Japanese bush clover, which is the prefectural flower of Miyagi, was planted. With the story of bonds in our hearts, we want to admire the flowers of Jojyuin.
