The 'Hime Sayuri no Komichi' is a hiking course of about 1 hour leading to Takajo Castle Ruins, where Hime Sayuri bloom in clusters. At the Echigo Sanjo・Takajo Hime Sayuri Festival, held in accordance with the blooming of Hime Sayuri, many tourists from outside the city and prefecture visit every year. The 'Echigo Sanjo・Takajo Hime Sayuri Festival' held according to the blooming will feature the sale of agricultural products and more.
