47th Kintai Bridge Festival
One of the three great festivals of Iwakuni with traditional richness
A festival held every year on April 29 around Kintai Bridge. A procession of feudal lords reproducing the Edo period Sankin-kotai and the samurai parade walk through Kintai Bridge. Additionally, demonstrations by the Iwakuni clan's rifle team and performances of Iwakuni drums are also held in the vicinity.
