Zuiryū-ji, the Buddhist temple of the second head of the Kaga Maeda clan, Lord Toshinaga Maeda, the founder of Takaoka, is a famous Soto Zen temple and a national treasure. During the spring special night viewing period, the lighting event "Kōsai Riku-ri" will be held. The fantastic effect of the grand temple appearing in the dark night is breathtaking.
