Japan is a leading country in sanitary napkins. However, looking at its history, it took a long time for disposable napkins to become popular. This exhibition focuses on the sanitary product 'menstrual belt' from the Taisho to early Showa periods and introduces representative brands. Additionally, it highlights package designs that seem to dispel the era's perception of menstruation as 'impurity' related to blood. Cooperation: Hiroaki Sano *Mini exhibition held in part of the permanent exhibition room.
