2023 24th Ashigara Fireworks Festival
Creating memories at the end of summer in Ashigara
A joint fireworks festival organized by Matsuda Town and Kaisei Town. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the merger of Matsuda Town and Yadoriki Village. Around 1,400 fireworks will be launched in the summer night sky, visible from both towns across the Sakawa River. On the day of the fireworks festival, Matsuda Town will host the 'Matsuda Tourism Festival' (Sakawa River Citizens Water Plaza), and Kaisei Town will hold the 'Noryo Festival' (Kaisei Waterfront Sports Park).
