Tenri University 100th Anniversary Commemorative 183rd Exhibition at Tenri Gallery "Soseki, Shiki, Ogai - Exhibition of Handwritten Works of Literary Giants"

More than a hundred years after the deaths of Natsume Soseki, Masaoka Shiki, and Mori Ogai, this year's exhibition will focus on the handwritten manuscripts of Soseki, Shiki, and Ogai from the numerous modern literary materials held by the Tenri Library. Manuscripts written by the authors themselves are first-rate materials for studying the authors and their works. The various traces of revision and edits seem to echo their breath even now from the pages.
