Pestle Dance Flower Horse Festival

Dancing along a distance of about 2 km while dexterously handling a flashy costume, a peculiar-shaped hat, and a pestle painted in black and red, it is dedicated to the Anihiraki Shrine. It has been designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset of Gifu Prefecture. Those who participate in practice and obtain a certificate can also join the dance on the day. On the night before, 4/12, there will be a pre-festival event featuring hand-held fireworks.

The time may change on the day. Shinto ritual from 10:15, Kagura dance around 11:00, and the Pestle Dance departs around 12:20 from Hirukawa General Affairs Office
