Kappa's Summer Vacation

The summer tradition of the Kappabashi Kaou Association, 'Kappa's Summer Vacation', will be held again this year. There will be children's festival games, storytelling, workshops, a lottery, free shaved ice for the first 600 people, a mini Shinkansen ride, and the ever-popular loach-catching event. This street connecting Ueno, where you can directly view the Tokyo Skytree, and Asakusa has a statue of a kappa and is visually enjoyable as a shopping district.
