83rd Nabari River Summer Fireworks Festival

The sound of 4,000 fireworks echoing through the mountains
The Nabari River Summer Fireworks Festival started in 1930 to celebrate the opening of the Sangu Kyukou Railway, and this year marks its 83rd event. While colorful fireworks spread across the night sky, visitors can enjoy the powerful sounds while feeling the cool breeze of the Nabari River. It is also the largest event in the area where you can enjoy the unique acoustic effects created by the surrounding mountains. Nabari City can be accessed in about 1 hour from Osaka Namba and about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Nagoya, so take this opportunity to visit.
