Byobu Meihin Ten

This exhibition showcases masterpieces of Byobu from the Kibi Museum collection, centered on the large six-panel folding screen 'Fuyo Ho no Zu' and 'Beneath the Plum Tree Drinking Party,' painted by the Western-style painter Kunitaro Teramatsu (pseudonym: Tansai) from Kurashiki City, as well as the two-panel folding screen 'Tanchou Mannen Tsurugi Mokusai Hyakushaku Kame' associated with the monk Jakugen from Hojo-ji Temple in Kurashiki City. It is an exhibition that allows visitors to enjoy bright and cheerful works suitable for welcoming the New Year.
