This event will discuss the process by which Western technology was introduced during the early Meiji period when the Miike Coal Mine was nationalized, introducing the ruins of the Miike Coal Mine and materials from that era. Speaker: Hiroshi Nakano (Omuta Coal Industry Science Museum). Capacity: 160 people. All seats are reserved. Those wishing to attend should apply via a return postcard or online application after checking the back of the flyer and the website.
