Fun summer fieldwork
Visit the scenic Takane Town. Explore the post town, apple orchards, and ancient temples, and admire the 1000-year-old tree in the temple. Principal Yamada Hiroto will guide you joyfully. Bus fare (2,000 yen, capacity 25, reservations preferred). Return to Barakura and create a container of appetite-boosting herbs to prevent summer fatigue.
