The 116th Onuma Lake Water Festival <Cancelled>

A summer festival with a long history
<Cancelled> A summer festival representing Onuma that has continued for over 100 years since 1906. It began when a local priest floated lanterns on the lake to mourn those who drowned in the water. The traditional memorial service and lantern floating are open to anyone (lantern cost is payable). The memorial service and lantern floating will be held on the first day, and the fireworks festival will be held on the second day. Activities such as children's yosakoi dances, street performances, and brass band performances will take place on both days, and a separate event called "Onuma Riche," featuring handmade goods and food, will also be held.
