Let's See the Emergence of Cicadas

Have you ever seen a cicada emerge? In fact, cicadas emerge at dusk to reduce the number of predators during their emergence. Let's learn about cicadas with the park staff while witnessing their emergence! This is a rare chance to see cicada emergence and enjoy the park at night, which is usually not accessible! Advance registration is required. Registration starts on June 19 (Thursday) for the first 30 people.

Exit at 'Seika Gakken' IC on the Keihanna Expressway and head west on Seika Road for about 2.2km.

Access (Public)

Take the Nara Kotsu bus from JR Hoshinomiya Station or Kintetsu Shin Hoshinomiya Station to Gakken Nara Tomigaoka Station and get off at 'Kouen-dori'.
