The Okushima Sakura Corridor is located in the southern part of Yamagata Prefecture in the Okitama Basin, connecting Akayu in Nanyo City to Arato in Shitaka Town along the Flower Nagai Line, covering about 43 km as a cherry blossom sightseeing route. Starting from the Eboshiyama Senbonzakura, one of the 'Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan,' various places, including the national natural monument Isazawa's Kubo Cherry Blossom, Kusaka's Daimyoujin Cherry Blossom, and the prefectural designated natural monument Yakushi Cherry Blossom, feature approximately 20 sites of classical cherry blossoms, including ancient trees over 1200 years old, famous trees, and giant trees, where beautiful cherry blossoms can be enjoyed. ■Notes There are no taxis permanently stationed at unmanned stations.
