55th Anniversary of the Opening - 55 Selected Japanese Paintings that Resonate with the Heart

In celebration of the 55th anniversary of the opening, we will showcase 55 selected masterpieces from the modern Japanese painting collection of the Adachi Museum of Art, including works by Yokoyama Taikan, Takeuchi Seiho, Kawai Gyokudo, Uemura Shoen, Kawabata Ryushi, and Sakakibara Shihō. The themes include bird-and-flower paintings, landscapes, and portraits, featuring vibrant colors, ethereal ink paintings, bold and free expressions, or delicate brushwork, showcasing a variety of styles that are captivating. Enjoy works that embody the unique aesthetic consciousness of the Japanese.
