Time slip to the Sengoku period with cherry blossoms
Matsushiro Castle was the residence of the Sanada clan during the Edo period. It is now maintained as a park, where about 100 cherry trees bloom beautifully in the castle grounds. On clear days, you might be able to see the distant Northern Alps. The annual 'Matsushiro Spring Festival' is planned to feature cherry blossom illuminations.
