Unoha Shrine Ceremony

Unoha Shrine Ceremony

Enjoy traditional bugaku and uo flowers

Sumiyoshi Taisha

5/10(Sat)~ 13:00~

A ceremony to celebrate the founding anniversary of Sumiyoshi Taisha. After offering a tamagushi made of uo leaves, the festival is held, followed by a bugaku performance on the stone stage. Many people gather every year to see the elegant bugaku, but this year there will be no public access. Additionally, the Uo Flower Garden is famous as one of the few remaining spots for uo flowers in Osaka City. From early May, when the Unoha Shrine Ceremony takes place, it opens to the public, and the garden features 13 varieties with 500 plants, blooming beautiful white, light pink, and deep purple flowers, making it a stunning sight.
