Morioka City Archaeological Learning Center Special Lecture 'When Spiral Patterns Were Painted on Pottery - The Jomon World of Hachinohe'

Exploring the secrets of Jomon pottery patterns
Held as a related event to the themed exhibition 'Following Patterns - Lines and Shapes Engraved on Jomon Pottery' at the Morioka City Archaeological Learning Center. The lecture will be given by Mr. Ken'ō Ichikawa, a curator at the Hachinohe City Museum, focusing on patterns found in the Jomon pottery, particularly spiral patterns, around Hachinohe during the Middle Jomon period. Pre-registration for participation is required via the website or phone.
