A free concert where you can listen to various styles of shakuhachi music

In the Minato Ward Traditional Japanese Music Study Group, there are players belonging to various schools of shakuhachi, including Fukamyo School, Kinko School, and Toyama School, as well as performers belonging to different factions within each school. The repertoire ranges from the classical pieces of the Komuso monks to contemporary traditional music. Feel free to come and experience the profound world of shakuhachi music. The performance pieces include Osu-den Tsuru no Sugomori, Sankie, Honchō, Mitaya, Suguzusuzumi, Yobitake Uketake, Yamato Choshi, Tenkan Gaki, Offering, Nuno Sugomori, Ryuboku Hibo Kannon Suzu, Osu Sanbaku, Hyosho - for solo shakuhachi - , Shinshi, Kokū, and others. ■Notes No prior reservation required, all seats are free seating.
