Bandai Festival

Two hearts entrusted to the fire: 'Prayer' and gratitude
The Bandai Festival began as a memorial and to offer prayers for those who perished in the eruption of Mount Bandai. It has been inherited and developed as a 'fire festival' to pray for abundant harvests and the peace of the townspeople. Many people visit for stage events, torch parades, and food stalls.
