This exhibition features works dyed using 'Shoai' indigo dye, which is fermented only with wood ash and prepared for dyeing, as well as pieces dyed with plant-based dyes. The indigo dye made using only indigo and lye, through the fermentation of microorganisms, possesses unique characteristics due to its 100% natural fermentation. Please take the opportunity to feel the color of indigo dyed with traditional techniques and the colors of plants with your hands, and through your eyes (approximately 100 pieces on display).
