Eri Matsumura Harp Recital - The World of the Beckmesser Harp

The World of the Beckmesser Harp
This is an unprecedented recital focusing on the pedal harp 'Beckmesser Harp,' which Wagner conceived during the performance of his opera 'Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.' There is only one of these rare instruments in Japan, owned by Eri Matsumura, a harp player with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra. Works by Masamichi Kinoshita, Yasutaka Henmi, Kenji Sakai, Oto Kawakami, Daiki Fujikura, Akiko Yamane, and Sukei Kawashima will be presented all at once. This concert is recommended for the Suntory Arts Foundation Keizo Saji Award concert.
