Spring 2024 Special Opening of Yurinso - Welcome to Yurinso! Hospitality with Contemporary Art

Yurinso, established in 1928, is the private residence of the founder of the Ohara Museum of Art, Magosaburo Ohara (1880-1943), and served as a guesthouse in Kurashiki. Nearly 100 years after its construction, Yurinso will undergo renovation in 2024. This special public opening coincides with the first exhibition after the renovation, featuring works by contemporary artists from the Ohara Museum of Art's collection to adorn the interior. Visitors can enjoy a new form of hospitality at Yurinso, which once fulfilled the role of a guesthouse.
