A beloved traditional festival of the downtown area - Morning Glory Festival
Around the Iriya Kishimojin, about 60 morning glory vendors and about 80 stalls (festival booths) line Koidon Street, attracting around 400,000 people every year for the morning glory market. Koidon Street is designated as a pedestrian paradise for three days, where people look for their favorite varieties and stroll in yukata.
