[Cherry Blossoms - Best Viewing] Akagi Nammensenshibonzakura

"Designated as one of the '100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots' (recognized by the Japan Sakura Association), this park is a representative cherry blossom spot in Maebashi City, attracting many tourists every year. The approximately 1.3km city road lined with Somei Yoshino cherry trees over 60 years old becomes a spectacular cherry blossom tunnel at full bloom. Parking fees will apply during the festival period. Regular cars (including tricycles) are 1,000 yen, buses are 4,000 yen, microbuses are 2,000 yen, and motorcycles are 500 yen. *Parking fees are free for those who present a disability certificate.

Access

Approximately 30 minutes from the Isesaki IC on the Kita Kanto Expressway, and approximately 40 minutes from the Akagi IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway.

Access (Public)

Only on 3/23, 24, 30, 31, 4/6, and 7, a paid shuttle bus will operate from JR Maebashi Station and Tobu/Joumein Railway Akagi Station.
