Nihyakunijitsu Hounen Shimin Matsuri

A citizens' festival that has continued for over 300 years
A traditional event that has been held since the late Edo period. Originally, it was a festival held to celebrate safely passing the unlucky day of the 210th day, to conclude wearing yukata, and to express gratitude for a bountiful harvest. People of all ages, especially women in yukata, gather and the nostalgic atmosphere of old times can be felt at the festival.
