This exhibition features many girls and Japanese deities, dolls, skeletons, and yokai. The girls are depicted as symbols of life, while the deities, dolls, skeletons, and yokai are portrayed as symbols of death and impermanence. While learning from the historical techniques, compositions, and motifs of ukiyo-e, the artist expresses the reality of ukiyo (the transient world), daily life insights and emotions, and personal desires with a unique sense of humor and interpretation. It expresses "life and death," a theme the artist has become increasingly conscious of in recent years, depicting humor and the beauty of women.
